Flood watch issued for most of Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A flood watch has been issued for most of Central Virginia on Saturday -- mainly for the north and east of the City of Richmond.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the following localities are under a flood watch from 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, until midnight.

  • Chesterfield County
  • Charles City County
  • Dinwiddie County
  • Essex County
  • Hanover County
  • Henrico County
  • King William County
  • King and Queen County
  • Louisa County
  • Fluvanna County
  • Goochland County
  • Greene County
  • Middlesex County
  • New Kent County
  • Northumberland County
  • Powhatan County
  • Prince George County
  • Richmond County
  • Sussex County
