From 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 25, Powhatan will host its Earth Day Celebration at the Powhatan County Courthouse.

Those interested can bring confidential or sensitive documents to that truck to get them destroyed for free.
"Don’t overlook the importance of securely disposing of your personal documents," the county said. "This service is perfect for old bank statements, tax records and other sensitive materials. Protect your identity and your peace of mind."
This service is provided by the Powhatan County Anti-Litter Council. To learn more about Powhatan County's Earth Day Celebration, click here.
