Friends of Richmond Public Library to host book drive

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Do you have unwanted books, CDs or DVDs lying around? You can take them over to a donation event held by Friends of the Richmond Public Library on Saturday.

A book drive will be held by the Friends of the Richmond Public Library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Richmond Public Library's Main Library, located at 101 E. Franklin St.

According to organizers, gently used books, CDs and DVDs will be accepted.

"Please note that we can not accept books that are not stored in a controlled climate," organizers said. "Textbooks should be less than three years old."
