GalaxyCon’s Animate! x Nightmare Weekend coming to Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- GalaxyCon's Animate! x Nightmare Weekend is coming to Richmond this weekend with anime icons, horror legends and more.

People can head to the Greater Richmond Convention Center, located at 403 N 3rd Street from Friday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 19 to participate in panels, cosplay and mingle with creators as well as fellow fans.

There will be several celebrity guests in attendance for photo opportunities and autographs, including Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, James Marsters, Peter Weller, Pam Grier and several more.

The hours for each day of the event are as follows:

• Friday, Oct. 17 -- 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 18 -- 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 19 -- 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
