RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is launching two different initiatives ahead of back to school to help families save money.

According to Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, every Monday, shoppers can expect to see select racks of clothing and accessories at just $1 at all retail locations.
National Thrift Shop Day will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16, across 34 Central and Coastal Virginia Goodwill stores where shoppers can hunt for "Golden Gift Cards," hidden in each store worth $25.
