Hanover Safe Place phones, internet down, doorbell and hotline use recommended during outage

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Hanover Safe Place, a nonprofit that offers services and resources for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, announced it was experiencing a phone and internet outage Monday morning.

According to a social media post by Hanover Safe Place in the morning on Monday, Aug. 4, the building's phones and internet were down.

Those visiting the office at 629A N. Washington Highway in Hanover County were asked to ring the doorbell.

Anyone in need was asked to call the EmpowerNet hotline at 804-612-6126, which can put callers in touch with Hanover Safe Place.
