Henrico bar and grill closing its doors after 5 years

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Henrico County bar and grill will officially close its doors this Saturday after five years of service.

On Wednesday, April 16, Cities Bar and Grill took to Instagram to announce that its final day of operations will be Saturday, April 19.

"After five unforgettable years, this decision wasn’t easy, but we are filled with gratitude," Cities said in its post. "This place has meant so much to so many — laughter, late nights, first dates, celebrations and unforgettable memories."

The bar and grill thanked both its customers and its staff for the support over the years.

If you are interested in saying goodbye to Cities Bar and Grill on Saturday, come down to 8004 West Broad Street for "The Finale." According to Cities' Instagram post, this last hurrah will feature musicians like Rayvon, Lonnie B, B-Nice and Crush Groovey.

"Let’s raise one last glass together this weekend," Cities said.
