Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney Office hosts domestic violence awareness panel

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Commonwealth's Attorney Shannon Taylor hosted a panel discussion with survivors of domestic violence on Thursday evening, where speakers shared their experiences and advice with community members.

In addition to community members hearing from survivors of domestic violence, attendees also heard more information about resources available to those impacted by domestic violence, as well as support systems working to keep families safe.

As part of the event, the county unveiled "To Another Me," a collection of letters by survivors of domestic violence, who offer advice and wisdom in the letters to others experiencing domestic violence.
