Henrico Humane Society to host 24th annual Pet Expo

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico Humane Society will host its 24th annual Pet Expo at Richmond Raceway Complex in late February, with activities, vendors and more.

The expo will span from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the complex, located at 600 East Laburnum Ave.

Attendees will be able to enjoy pet-friendly activities, including dog contests, puppy and Corgi races, a lure course and an online auction. Folks will also be able to meet adoptable dogs.

In addition, the event boasts over 70 vendors selling products like dog collars, toys, treats and more.

Attendees will also be able to buy a ticket online for a 50/50 raffle. According to the Henrico Humane Society, the winner last year took home over $5,000.

Adult tickets are $8 online or $10 at the door. Admission for kids ages 6 through 12 is $5, and kids under 6 are free. For more information about the event and to grab your tickets, visit the organization's website.
