Henrico Police investigating alleged attempted abduction

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico County Police Division is investigating an alleged attempted abduction following an incident that occurred Thursday morning.

At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to the 900 block of Hurtsborne Court for a reported "suspicious situation."

When officers arrived, they spoke to the caller, who said their daughter may have been involved in an attempted kidnapping, but was able to get away.

Officials continue to gather more information about the incident and identify a person and vehicle of interest.
