Henrico school district to hold vaccine clinics for some students

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Public Schools will hold multiple immunization clinics in August for middle and high school students.

According to a release from the school district, they will be offering three vaccines for incoming 7th and 12th graders. These students will be able to receive the Tdap, MenACWY and HPV vaccines, which are vaccines required for school attendance at any of the four clinics.

The following is a list of the clinics:

  • Aug. 6: Fairfield Middle School, located at 5121 Nine Mile Road. Register by clicking here.

  • Aug. 12: Quioccasin Middle School, located at 9400 Quioccasin Road. Register by clicking here.
  • Aug. 13: Henrico High School, located at 302 Azalea Ave. Register by clicking here.

Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring an insurance card if they have one, bring an ID and complete a consent form -- which can be found by clicking here -- for each student, either at the clinic or in advance.

Registration is not required, but walk-ins will be based on vaccine availability.
