Henrico ‘serves’ at ribbon-cutting for new pickleball courts

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County "served" this week at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its four new pickleball courts.
The ceremony was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, officially opening four new pickleball courts at Elko Recreation Area and Community Center located at 6216 White Oak Road in Sandston.

Several county officials, including John Zannino and Tyrone Nelson, spoke ahead of the ribbon-cutting and offered up the first serve on the courts.
