House fire displaces three residents in Chesterfield County
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are displaced after a fire blazed from their home in Chesterfield County. Just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 13500 block of Carters Way Road. Officials said the first firefighters who arrived on scene found heavy fire in the garage of the home that had spread into the house. Firefighters got the fire under control in less than an hour. There are no injuries, according to officials. Three people are displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
