RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) will host a Community Podcast Day on Thursday, where podcasters and enthusiasts will convene for presentations and more.

Community Podcast Day will be held for free at the ICA at VCU, located at 601 W. Broad St. in Richmond, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Attendees will convene amongst podcasters, enthusiasts and those interested in starting a podcast for a day of presentations and career development.

The event will introduce attendees to the fine details of professional podcast production and the chance to speak with industry representatives.

"This is where you can learn what it really takes to make it in podcasting," the ICA at VCU said on its website.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations from Andrew Beck Grace of NPR’s "White Lies" and "Embedded," Hazel Hoffman of "Goat Rodeo," Ronald Young Jr. of "Weight For It" and "Pop Culture Debate Club," and more.
