ICA at VCU to host Hand/Thrown Holiday Market

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking for handmade holiday gifts? The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) will host the Hand/Thrown Holiday Market over the weekend, featuring a variety of locally made ceramics.

The Hand/Thrown Holiday Market will be open to the public at the ICA's Royall Forum from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, with donor preview hours spanning prior, from 5 to 6 p.m.

In addition, the market will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14.

The market will feature ceramics made by over 25 local artists.

According to the ICA, Hand/Thrown opened in 2018 to bring ceramic arts to a larger community and provide a space for artists to create, grow and explore their craft.
