Join the 8News team for Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- We need you! 8News is once again proudly partnering with the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in their annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Just like last year, 8News is inviting everyone to join our team to participate and raise donations for the walk on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Participation is free, but sponsorship donations will go toward funding awareness, care and research into the disease that affects millions of Americans.

The walk will offer a 2-mile option and a 1-mile option and take place at City Stadium -- 3201 Maplewood Ave -- beginning with the opening ceremony at 10:15 a.m.
