Lane closures coming to Richmond street due to Dominion Energy maintenance

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Part of a Richmond street will see alternating, temporary lane closures until the end of May to allow Dominion Energy to perform maintenance.

There will be temporary lane closures in a section of Patterson Avenue between Three Chopt Road and Westview Avenue on certain days starting on Friday, May 9 and ending Friday, May 30, according to the city's Department of Public Works (DPW).

One of two lanes in each block will be closed from Tuesday to Friday each week during this three-week period. Working hours will be between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., per the DPW.

Nearly 20 Richmond streets to see lane closures for over a month

These closures will allow Dominion Energy to perform maintenance on several road poles.

All homes and businesses will be accessible during this time, the DPW said.
