Late-night crash shuts down I-64 East in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash has shut down Interstate 64 East in Henrico County late Monday night.
The crash took place just after 11 p.m. on Monday, May 26, on I-64 eastbound near its interchange with I-295, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
As of 11:14 p.m., all eastbound lanes in the area of the crash are closed.
Drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area as first responders work to clear the scene.
