(WRIC) -- As the holiday season sparkles to life, celebrate at Stony Point Fashion Park with festive events happening throughout December.  The holiday festivities will kick off with a little mischief with Dr. Seuss' the Grinch from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Steal a minute or two with your favorite Who and enjoy Grinch-inspired activities and treats.  Attendees can meet and take photos with the Grinch himself, take part in Grinch-themed giveaways and crafts hosted by the Chesterfield Public Library and transform with Grinch-inspired face-painting -- all while enjoying live performances of The Grinch soundtrack by the Doorway Singers. There will be green mini cheesecakes and hot chocolate from Verseau Bistro, as well as specialty green drinks from Latitude Seafood, P.F. Chang’s and Eggspectation. Santa Photos  After getting into mischief with the Grinch, Stony Point is offering a way to get back on Santa’s nice list with two Saturday photo ops. On Dec. 14 and 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., capture the holiday magic with a photo with Santa.   Stony Point is offering a deal where those interested can get a 4x6 photo print and 8oz candle from C&G Luxury Candles for $20. You can find Santa right next to the ice-skating rink in Space 145.   Those interested can book their visit with Santa online.  Stony Point Ice Skating Rink  Lace up those skates and bundle up for a spin on Stony Point's ice skating rink, which previously opened on Nov. 16. The rink will remain open through Jan. 5, 2025. Stony Point’s Ice Rink offers a variety of ticket options. In addition to general admission, Stony Point offers group packages, as well as discounts on specified event days. Get tickets in advance by visiting Stony Point's website.   The RAMble: Walking for Wellness Event  On Monday, Dec. 16, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., meet with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Massey Cancer Center Integrative Health for a brief talk given by a VCU Health provider, followed by an exercise walk that will take place in Stony Point near the dog park.   No sign-up is required and all fitness levels are welcome. Weather permitting, this event will be held every third Saturday of the month. Those who attend Bach to Rock! can save $1 on ice skating tickets after the performance. Irish Dancing by the Rink  On Thursday, Dec.19, starting at 6 to 7 p.m., experience the magic of Irish dancing near the ice rin, brought to you by The Heart of Ireland School. American Red Cross Blood Drive  From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, you can give the gift of life this holiday season by donating blood to the American Red Cross. The blood donation event will be located across from J.Jill, right next to MediaNoche in space 129. Enter at Saks Fifth Avenue and Brooks Brothers, turn right and walk straight past the fountain.   American Red Cross is handing out a new long-sleeved Red Cross t-shirt to those who donate. NOON-Year’s Eve  On Dec. 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., bring the whole family to ring in the New Year at noon in an event dedicated to the little ones who can't make it to midnight. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill brings authentic Greek cuisine to Midlothian Festivities will take place in Triangle Park. There will be goodie bags, music, face painting, balloon art and a crafts station. Those who attend can get a $1 discount on ice skating tickets and RVA Mini Express Train rides.   The countdown to “Noon Year’s” will start just before noon. Small Business Social at Stony Point  On Thursday, Jan. 9 from. to 7 p.m., Stony Point will host an evening of networking and fun for small business owners in the area. This free event will include a presentation by Chamber RVA, followed by a Q&A on its offerings within the community.  Participants will have the chance to explore on-site leasing opportunities available at Stony Point The event will be located in space 164, near Dillard’s.
