RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Holiday season is here and Venture Richmond has released its lineup of events, which kicks off this weekend. Venture Richmond has shared its lineup of events and activities happening for RVA Downtown Holidays 2024, check it out below: A Drag Queen Christmas Friday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. Located at Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center, 600 E. Grace Street Hosted by Nina West from RuPaul's Drag Race, fans can expect to see live performances from their favorite queens, but with a Christmas spin to it. Tickets begin at $52 and can be purchased here. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer -- The Musical Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. Located at Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center, 600 E. Grace Street Catch Rudolph, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf and others at the Carpenter Theatre. This musical is an event for the whole family to celebrate the magic of being unique. Tickets begin at $40 and can be purchased online. Tredegar Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Located at the American Civil War Museum, 490 Tredegar Street Come on out for the 2nd annual Tredegar Tree Lighting and experience the illumination of the 20-foot-tall tree inside of the museum. The event will feature live music from the Joe Sarver Trio, with holiday beverages served by Virago Spirits. Grace Street Award-winning actor Gregory Williams Welsch will bring to life the narrative and journey of C.S. Lewis in a unique Christmas performance. Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased online. Craft + Design Friday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 24 -- times will vary Located at Main Street Station, 1500 E. Main Street Craft + Design is presented by the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. This event will showcase unique contemporary arts and crafts from across the nation.
