Man arrested in Petersburg after commercial burglary
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A 38-year-old man was arrested on Saturday night in connection to a Petersburg burglary that occurred in mid-April.
At around 10:53 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded to a report of "the possible suspect" in the 1400 block of W. Washington Street. The suspect is connected to a commercial burglary from April 15, according to police.
Officers found the suspect -- later identified as 38-year-old Deanangelo Antonio Clanton -- and he was arrested and charged with burglary, property damage, grand larceny and petit larceny.
Clanton is being held pending his next court appearance.
