Man arrives at hospital with gunshot wound after shooting on North Avenue in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound about an hour following a possible shooting that was reported on North Avenue in Richmond Tuesday night.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were called just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, to the 2300 block of North Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Police said officers arrived and did not locate a victim.
Instead, the man arrived hospital an hour later with an apparent gunshot wound with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
"Detectives have determined he suffered his injury at the North Avenue location and are investigating," police wrote.
