Man found dead after townhouse complex shooting on Caulder Court

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found dead after a shooting in a townhouse residence on Caulder Court on Tuesday morning.

According to the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to the report of a person shot in the 3800 block of Caulder Court on Tuesday, March 4, at 9:12 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

An investigation is currently being led by the Major Crimes division of the Richmond Police Department -- including interviews with townhouse residents and evidence collected from the scene.
