Man found dead with gunshot wound in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Police are investigating after a man was found dead with a gunshot wound on Nelson Street Saturday evening. According to police, on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5:54 p.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Nelson Street for the report of a person shot. When officers arrived they found a man on the ground inside a home with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said "detectives are not currently looking for anyone else in this incident." The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.
