Man injured in Christmas Eve shooting in Hopewell

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — One person is injured after a shooting on Christmas Eve, according to the Hopewell Police Department.
At around 11:43 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, Hopewell Police received a report that an injured man had arrived at TriCities Hospital.
He was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the face, per police.
Authorities said it's unclear where the shooting happened.
Hopewell Police continues to investigate. No additional information is available at this time.
