Man left with life-threatening injuries after Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was left with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Richmond on Tuesday night.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were called to the 900 block of Chamberlayne Parkway at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, for a report of a person shot.
Once on scene, officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Although he was found on Chamberlayne Parkway, detectives with the department said the man was shot less than a half a mile away in the 300 block of West Baker Street.
