Man shot, found dead in Chesterfield after crashing into home New Year’s morning
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in Chesterfield County after police said he crashed a truck into a home on New Year's Day. At 12:58 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department responded to the 14900 block of Broadwater Way for the report of a crash. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a home. Within the vehicle, police said a dead man was found with gunshot wounds.
