At about 8:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2900 block of Cherokee Road for report of a person down. When they arrived, officers found a man who had multiple gunshot wounds to his "lower extremities," according to police. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
