Under Virginia law, winning tickets will expire 180 days after drawings, which means that after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, the ticket will be "worthless."
The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 16624 General Puller Highway in Deltaville. It matched all five white balls — 13, 20, 26, 32 and 65 — but missed the Mega Ball number, which was 2.
According to the Virginia Lottery, state law requires that unclaimed prizes go to Virginia’s Literary Fund, which provides low-interest loans to localities for public school construction, renovations, and technology upgrades.
