Missing 87-year-old woman ‘abducted and in danger,’ Chesterfield police searching

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is searching for a missing woman who was reportedly taken from her home by a family member. According to police, 87-year-old Ursala David was last seen being "removed from her home" by Elvin Moreno, 36, of Chesterfield, around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29. Virginia State Police said David "is believed to have been abducted and in danger." They also said the pair were picked up by an unknown vehicle and may be headed to Brooklyn, New York. "David has dementia and her caretakers are unaware of her whereabouts and did not give Moreno permission to take David from the residence," a release from Chesterfield Police reads. "Moreno is a family member of David." Ursala David is described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall Black female, weighing approximately 90 pounds. She has white hair.
