Missing man out of Chesterfield made concerning statements before disappearance

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 56-year-old missing man last seen in Chesterfield County on Monday "made comments that concerned his family" before his disappearance. The Chesterfield County Police Department is currently searching for Michael Evans, who was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16 at a home in the 21000 block of Warren Avenue. "Before leaving [the home,] he made comments that concerned his family and indicated he may need mental health services," police said in a Dec. 17 press release. 56-year-old Michael Evans. (Photo: Chesterfield County Police Department) Evans, pictured above, is described as a white man with blue eyes and brown hair. According to police, he is about 5'7" and weighs about 145 pounds. A description of what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance was not provided. He does not have a vehicle or a cell phone.
