Mountainfilm on Tour brings celebration of nature, sports and film to Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Mountainfilm on Tour is bringing its celebration of mountaineers, environmentalists, filmmakers, scientists and creatives to Henrico County in mid-April with a festival followed by an evening of outdoor film showings.

The festival will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on April 12, featuring live music and activities like rock climbing, a disc golf game, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and stargazing.

In addition to festivities, attendees can grab treats from food vendors and check out a variety of nature and sports-centered vendors and organizations.

According to organizers, a sampling of films will be shown shortly after sunset. Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket for comfortable seating.
