Multiple vehicle crash on I-95 Chesterfield caused three-mile back up

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- According to the Department of Transportation (VDOT), there was a three-mile backup on Interstate 95 due to a multi vehicle crash.
The alert was made at approximately 9:25 a.m., and resulted in closures on the left and north travel lanes on Route 288.
