National Cereal Day: Virginians rank Cheerios as their No. 1 cereal
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- When it comes to breakfast, many Americans opt for a bowl of cereal, but which kind?
Vegas Insider did a study using Google keyword planner and found that Virginians ranked cheerios as their favorite choice of cereal -- with an average search volume of 2,900 per month last year.
Lucky Charms took second place with an average search volume of 2,400 and Cinnamon Toast Crunch took third with an average search volume of 1,900 over the past year.
While many Americans prefer Cap'n Crunch, it was the least popular in Virginia with only 480 average searches.
