New ‘beauty destination’ coming to Libbie Mill – Midtown in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new "beauty destination" is coming to Henrico County, offering last extensions, waxes, dermaplaning and more.
Libbie Mill - Midtown -- described by its developers as a 90-acre "mixed-used, walkable community" that represents the "largest revitalization project in Henrico County's 400-year history" -- is located at Staples Mill Road, Libbie Avenue and Interstate 64.
"The community features a walk/bike nature trail, a lake and pier, a pavilion, townhomes, condominiums, apartment residences, shops, restaurants and a state-of-the-art public library," developers said in a July 7 press release.
The newest business to move into Libbie Mill - Midtown is Extended Studio, a licensed esthetician's office that will offer lash extensions, brow laminations, mini facials, dermaplaning and waxes, among other services.

The studio will open in Suite 105 of the Penstock Building, located at 5001 Libbie Mill East Boulevard.
"We’re beyond excited to announce that Extended Studio is relocating to our beautiful new space in Libbie Mill – Midtown,” said Sable Grayson, owner and artist of Extended Studio, in the release. “This vibrant, walkable neighborhood doesn’t just fit our brand. It reflects who we are: modern, intentional and rooted in community.”
With Extended Studio's addition, the Penstock Quarter building is fully leased.
"Gumenick Properties continues to expand the neighborhood with Wrighthaven Square, a new apartment development set to open in early 2026, and pre-leasing now underway for the newest Jordan’s Branch Apartments rental condominiums," developers said.
