One displaced after house fire in Albemarle County
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Albemarle County Department of Fire Rescue responded to a house fire this evening on Rocky Hollow Road.
At approximately 7:39 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, fire crews responded to a report of a house fire at a single-family home on the 600 block of Rocky Hollow Road.
According to a release from the fire department, the first crews arrived on the scene at 7:46 p.m., and discovered smoke coming from the kitchen. There was one resident home during the time of the fire, who was treated for minor injuries.
The now displaced resident is being assisted by loved ones. The Albemarle County Fire Marshal's Office determined that the cause of the fire was accidental.
