One man hospitalized, another arrested after assault in Henrico business

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was hospitalized and another was arrested after an assault inside a Henrico County business Monday evening.

At about 6 p.m. on Monday, July 14, officers with the Henrico County Police Division were called to a business in the 4900 block of Nine Mile Road for report of a shooting.

Investigators determined that two men had gotten into an altercation inside the business. Said altercation became physical, resulting in one of the men getting hurt.

A gun was discharged during the fight, but no one was shot.

The injured man was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The other man, who was unhurt, was arrested. His exact charges are pending, per police.
