One person displaced after fire catches in kitchen of Chesterfield home
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person is displaced after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a Chesterfield County home Friday morning, causing smoke damage.
At 9:56 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews received a call from a neighbor who reported a fire in the 10600 block of Ramshorn Road.
When firefighters arrived, they found a fire in the kitchen. The fire was marked under control at 10:17 a.m., according to officials.

Though the fire was contained to the kitchen, the rest of the home reportedly had smoke damage. There were no injuries.
Officials said one person was displaced, and they declined assistance. They were not home when the fire broke out.
