One person hospitalized after vehicle overturns in Cumberland County crash
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A person has been hospitalized following a Thursday morning crash in Cumberland County.
According to a post from the Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department, crews were dispatched at 10:39 a.m. on Thursday, April 10 to the intersection of Anderson Highway and Cartersville Road for the report of an accident involving two vehicles, with one reportedly overturned.
While crews were in transit, they were informed that a person was trapped in one of the vehicles.

Once at the scene, a pickup truck was found on its side with the driver stuck inside.
The pickup truck was then put back on its wheels and the driver was removed. They were then taken to a local hospital. Officials did not provide any additional details on their condition.
