One person is displaced after a house fire in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Sunday afternoon Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews responded to a house fire in the 8100 block of Providence Forest Court.
On Sunday, July 13, at 5:45 p.m. Fire and EMS crews responded to calls of a house fire. When the first crews arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the house and a fire in the kitchen.

According to a Facebook post by Chesterfield County Fire and EMS, the fire was under control within 10 minutes.
The Metro Richmond Flying squad was also at the scene, and provided aid to firefighters at the scene.

There are no reported injuries at this time, however one person is displaced and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
