Over $463K worth of narcotics seized in one week: Virginia State Police

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police seized over $463,000 worth of illegal narcotics and several firearms in one week as part of its ongoing crime suppression operations.
From Nov. 5 to Nov. 10, state troopers partnered with federal and local agencies to recover firearms, seize narcotics and investigate multiple crimes in the Commonwealth, per a release.

- Firearm recovery
- Four firearms were recovered at a value of $2,000.
- 1,000 controlled substance pills
- Narcotics seizure: A total of $784,763 U.S. currency was seized.
- 41.9 pounds of narcotics
- Denied revenue from seized narcotics was valued at $463,250.
- 6.9 pounds of cocaine
- 33.2 pounds of marijuana
- 1.3 ounces of methamphetamine
- 1.6 ounces of psilocybin
- 1,00 fentanyl pills
- 151 THC gummies
Additionally, state police also received 13 gaming-related tips and 15 human trafficking tips during this period. To date, officials have received a total of 1,942 gaming-related and 1,331 human trafficking tips.
There are 215 cases either being investigated or currently under investigation by authorities, as well as 3,498 individual investigative activities underway, according to Virginia State Police.
