The shooting took place the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 1, in the 500 block of Amherst Drive, according to the Petersburg Bureau of Police. The unidentified victim's injury is not considered life-threatening. No additional information, such as the person's age or gender, is available at this time. As of about 3 p.m., officers remain at the scene investigating this incident.
