Person taken to the hospital after Petersburg shooting
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A person was taken to the hospital after a late-night shooting in Petersburg.
Just after 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, the Petersburg Bureau of Police posted on Facebook about a police presence in the 100 block of Croatan Drive for a shooting investigation.
According to police, the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
