Petersburg Holiday Parade 2024: Floats, bands and more

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- The Petersburg Holiday Parade took place this weekend, offering local residents the chance to see floats, bands and much more. On Saturday, Dec. 7 starting at 3 p.m., the City of Petersburg kicked off their holiday parade at Poplar Lawn Park and traveling down Sycamore Street with marching bands, holiday-themed floats and music. A tree lighting took place shortly after the parade, and offered families a chance to get free photos with Santa Claus himself.
