Petersburg man arrested for possession of cocaine, firearm

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A Petersburg man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a firearm.
At approximately 11:54 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, Petersburg Bureau of Police encountered 52-year-old Timothy Johnson, while they were investigating the 1300 block of Grant Avenue.
According to police, Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held currently without a bond.
