Petersburg National Battlefield’s Park Day rescheduled due to forecasted rain, storms

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Given the possibility of rain and thunderstorms affecting the area, the Petersburg National Battlefield's Park Day Volunteer event on Saturday has been rescheduled.
According to the Petersburg National Battlefield, the Park Day Volunteer event, which was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 26, has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms.
Registered volunteers are advised to check their emails for any updates.
