PHOTOS: 8News viewers capture excitement of 2025 Richmond Marathon

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News viewers were among the crowds of racegoers on Saturday as the Richmond Marathon took over the River City.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, the sold-out 2025 Allianz Richmond Marathon, the CarMax Richmond Half Marathon and the VCU Health Richmond 8K brought more than 21,000 people together. This included both 8News team members and many of our viewers.

Whether they were running one of Saturday's races or coming out to cheer racers on, 8News viewers captured the Allianz Richmond Marathon energy on camera and shared it with us.
