PHOTOS: Police investigating Chesterfield garage fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield Police are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out in a detached garage near Thomas Dale High School on Saturday afternoon. According to police, officers got a call about a fire in the 11600 block of Chester Road at 3:44 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 and when they arrived on scene five minutes later they found heavy fire coming from a detached garage. Some of the fire had spread to brush nearby, but the fire was marked under control at 4:18 p.m. One firefighter was treated on scene for injuries that were considered minor. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
