PHOTOS: The Miracle of Christmas at Metro Richmond Zoo
MOSELEY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Miracle of Christmas returned to the Metro Richmond Zoo this weekend for it's 22nd anniversary. The live nativity pageant saw its second day on Saturday, Dec. 21 with live actors as well as animals from the Metro Richmond Zoo located at 8300 Beaver Bridge Road in Moseley. Visitors have another chance to catch the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth on Sunday, Dec. 22 with three 20-minute performances that will take place at 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. 8News spoke to Terry Rosvall, who played the Angel in the Miracle of Christmas, about what it means to be able to tell this story. "As we ponder the gifts that we give each other, I think it's important for us to remember the gift from God of his son and all that he has done and continues to do for us," Rosvall said.
