PHOTOS: Truck engulfed in flames after late-night crash in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A truck was engulfed in flames after a two-vehicle crash in Chesterfield County late Thursday night.

Just before 10 p.m., Chesterfield County Fire and EMS said that its firefighters were at the scene of a vehicle fire at the intersection of Charter Colony Parkway and Old Hundred Road.

The fire was the result of a two-vehicle crash, according to officials. Photos shared by the agency show what appears to be a truck burning heavily.

The fire also caused a fuel leak. Chesterfield firefighters and HAZMAT crews worked in tandem to put out the fire.
